The difference is this is an app that is special between you and your someone. It creates more of a one on one feeling than texting. You van also send "Thinking of you" messages which are cute and the app remembers how many you have sent.

Additionally you can password protect the app so you can't open it unless you know the passcode. Also, there is no way to copy the text out (except screen shots), and if you "break the connection" all of the data is deleted on both sides. :)

How can you make sure data are not copied out of the app (especially with a rooted phone)? Are you encoding the application files with the PIN?

(I know it's a simple question/answer, just making sure all points are covered :))

I will in the next version, but I wanted to get this app out so. Thus the data is not encrypted on the phone, so of you had a root you could read it. Also the pin can only be numbers, so unless you made a really long pin it would not be too secure anyways.

By secure I was really referring to locking your messages, so the app is "secure" by average Joe standards.

Small something, you said:

> Thinking of You allows users to set a pin number to protect their conversation

But PIN stands for "Personal Identification Number" so really, you should just say

> Thinking of You allows users to set a pin to protect their conversation

Small pet-peeve of mine.

Can you share links or pictures? Does this app also work on PC?

This is a really cool concept, and would definitely use it... if I had a special someone...

Seriously though, I didn't like letting people look through my phone back when I had a girlfriend, in case they read the text messages/conversations with her.

How does this compare to "Pair"

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pair/id503663173?mt=8

I assume there are some inspirations, but new features as well?

So, just like BBM. If you get this on other platforms this will really hit off.
