Description
Gathr was a social event coordinator built for Android. Quinn, Tyler, and Bryan developed both the Android client and its back-end over three months.
Friends could arrange a meetup by dropping an event on a map. The app sent invitations to gather there and showed the organizer's current location, making it a tool for spontaneous, real-time plans. Bryan describes this workflow in his project portfolio.
The project won first place in an ACM Google coding competition. Quinn recorded the award in his original portfolio; the surviving description does not specify the competition year or a public release date.
