Baconit's Blue Screen of Death April Fool's prank

PhoneArena covered the April Fool's joke in Baconit, which briefly imitated a Windows Phone shutdown and startup failure. The article records the sequence of the prank and the reactions it drew from readers. The live page was unavailable in full during archiving, so this copy comes from the Internet Archive. The two article illustrations were restored from the same article’s May 8, 2026 Internet Archive capture.
